Manchester Met is a good all-rounder. Its LPC has good links with local firms, particularly smaller outfits, and offers a wide range of electives and pro bono opportunities. That said, it lacks the name recognition of BPP and the University of Law. The Bar course has good connections to the Northern Circuit, and there are some interesting extra-curricular opportunities, including mentoring, mediation training and pro bono.
