India's winning essay address the question: How can law firms take meaningful steps to address climate change?


 

The Chambers Student Essay Competition gives students the chance to show off their writing skills and commercial awareness in an essay that will be published on the Chambers Student website. In addition, the winner will receive a £100 voucher to put towards academic materials.

The top 10 entries will be invited to an exclusive networking event at Taylor Wessing, where they will get to take part in a skills session and meet trainees at the firm. They will also receive a certificate from Chambers Student. 

Both law and non-law students are invited to take part.

 

To be in with a chance of winning, please answer one of the following questions in up to 800 words:

  • How can law firms take meaningful steps to address climate change and reduce their carbon footprint?
  • As legal tech advances, how is the role of the lawyer changing?
