It's out in the ’burbs, but UWL's certainly not out of the look. Good transport links from leafy Ealing means that students can be in Central London in 15 minutes. True, it doesn't have the same physical proximity to the City that the likes of BPP and ULaw do, but it makes up for it in other ways. The facilities have recently been renovated and offer a pro bono advice centre, a mock courtroom and a dedicated law floor in the library. We like that careers provision isn't seen as an optional extra; rather the school runs a careers module alongside the electives in Stage Two and has good links with the solicitors’ profession for work experience. All in all, it's a good-value course in a nice part of London, but may not quite have the name recognition of the bigger (and dearer) schools.
