Chambers says...

Northumbria stands out for its exempting degrees, which allow students to roll their LPC or BPTC into a four-year undergraduate degree. Another big plus is that it's a master’s level qualification. It's a great opportunity to save on professional course fees, although we should note that Northumbria offers the country's most affordable BPTC, and the full-time LPC is pretty reasonable too. Facilities are pretty swish and students on both courses have the opportunity to work on live cases at the Student Law Office, which is part of a module. While it has a good reputation among northern practitioners, we don't hear from many Northumbria grads among our London trainee interviewees, but the University assures us they do send a few to City firms. This quibble aside, students here get a good deal of bang for their buck.
