Chambers says...

Manchester Met is a good all-rounder, although we'd suggest taking their impressive-looking employment statistics with a pinch of salt. Its LPC has good links with local firms, particularly smaller outfits, and offers a wide range of electives and pro bono opportunities. That said, it lacks the name recognition of BPP and the University of Law. The Bar course has good connections to the Northern Circuit, and there are some interesting extra-curricular opportunities, including involvement in Manchester Mediation Centre and the chance to practise your cross-examination skills on Manchester's finest.
