Chambers says...

Fees are low at De Montfort University, but LPCers still have access to their own library and common room, in a purpose-built, environmentally friendly law school building. It's got a lot of the usual electives, plus a few unusual ones like child law and sports and media law, and there are some interesting pro bono opportunities. Students at DMU are all guaranteed two weeks' work experience with local solicitors to help fill up that CV. We even heard of a few students who leveraged this into local training contracts, but we aren't sure how many graduates go further afield. DMU's a good call for busy students, with face-to-face lectures limited to two days a week and attendance at lectures optional.
